The Ghana Desk Project Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, that provides desks to underserved children and jobs to the community in Africa and the African Diaspora.
Imagine having to bring your own desk and chairs to school; and if you can't afford it, then you won't be able to attend or imagine being able to attend school but you have to sit on the floor the entire day to learn.
This is the reality for most children across Africa. While it is our intention to reach the entire continent we've started by addressing the needs of children in Ghana who are struggling to learn while sitting on the floor of their classrooms.
The Ghana Desk Project aims to change the narrative by providing children with desks to help facilitate a healthy learning environment that fuels their dreams for the future.
Founded in 2017, The Ghana Desk Project has built and donated over 500+ desks and provided jobs to the community across Ghana.
